I have to say that I enjoyed the first video you posted, the second is not avaiable in my country lol.
Maybe you should say it's your Heavy Metal favorite songs, there is diference between metal and rock, and Slipknot not either one of them... Actually it's considered Trash style :P
But, by the songs, it seems to be a nice list, if they are all that style...
But just try not to focus only one band, 9 songs on a top 10, being on the first 9 positions, is a sign of addiction :P I was like that with Iron Maiden, but we have to be more "ecletic" with other band :D
Listen to some Beatles, AC DC, and Iron Maiden, though Iron Maiden fits the Heavy Metal class, maybe your Top 10 change a little after that :D

Man, I wonder why, but I don't like linkin park... And if you are going to listen SoaD, make sure you listen their old musics, cos they were turning themselves into a pop band after some time... I only remmber few musics of them... I remember Arials, " In the skies, very up high" or something like that on the chorus, but than they becamo pop guys and I became mad because of that and stop listening to them, that was long ago... I also like to listen some nightwish, when Tarja was with them, cos Annete got nothing, really... They were pretty cool, a goth style, a lot of good musics, and the first bassist, Marcus if I'm not wrong, had a demoniac voice, and together with Tarja with that angelical voice(and body!) made an excellent contrast, totally cool! My favorites of Nightwish are:
Over the Hills and Far Away - And NO, it's not the same lirycs of the Led Zepelin's one
If I had an Angel
Nemo - and NO, it's not about a clown fish or an emo, though Nemo in latin means nobody...
Anyway, if you are open to tips, listen those ones, and my favorite album of them is Wishmaster, it has the best musics, in overral :]
